Philly's very own, Asaad, dropped his highly anticipated mixtape, #DIRTYMIDDLECLASS, on Christmas day for the people! Can you believe that Es forgot? Smh, I had to slap myself. Anyway though, the 'tape includes artists features from How To Dress Well, INI, Walt Fraze, Rich Hil, and Drgn King. It also features production by Nascent & QB, Bink!, Manny Wit Da Beats, Nicolay, Ritz Reyonlds and many more!
I knew it. I knew I was gonna love this project. I felt it. I felt it in my bones!!! Asaad is like the fucking... future! The music is so hood yet so proper. It's gritty yet its fly. Its expensive fur coats on the dirty city streets. It's gold platted cups filled with Kool-Aid. It's young and refreshing yet classic at the same time. #DIRTYMIDDLECLASS is everything. Asaad does this shit so effortlessly! He probably wakes up and piss excellence. I mean I wouldn't know but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. He fits almost perfectly with every beat he spits on. The honesty in his lyrics and his flow create a vivid picture of the moments in his head. While listening to 'tape, I laughed, I cried, and I screamed, "PREACH!". I really needed this 'tape in my life cause I didn't want 2011 to end on a bad note for me and my iTunes. I'm hooked on this guy and his music. I can't wait to see what else he has to offer. But yea, #DIRTYMIDDLECLASS is everything. You stupid if you read this and don't download the 'tape. Yea, I said it. #TheNewBlack bitches!!!
