Getcha Some.
See....G.O.O.D Music is the best fuckin label in this industry right now. I feel like that's all I have to say in this post and just walk away from the laptop. But I'm tell you about this video and why I think it's very close to perfect.
First off, congrats Big Sean on ya first video!!!! I love this song. It's the first Big Sean song-no its not but its one of the first and I absolutely fell in love with him and his music after that. This was a like a perfect first video for him. Why?:
-He got a lot...and I mean a lot of face time! No one can walk away from just watching this video and not know how Big Sean looks like. Sneaky promo technique!
-It wasn't too flashy. Although it did kinda look like a Bape commercial, if you know Big Sean...he's a Bape feen! And he was rocking a Burn Rubber fitted-you go! Put on for ya city! If you know street wear fashion, you clearly know where he was. If ya dont, wellllll. Anywho, he was fresh as hell of course but it wasn't overboard like many other rap videos
-Tons of Big Sean, tiny bits of KanYe! I thank God for KanYe not cranking a Diddy and dancing all up in the background and talking on the track and shit when it comes to his artists. If they need a verse, he gives it to them. If they need a beat, he gives it to them. It was nice to see him in the video, somewhat "celebrating" Big Sean's debut with him. KanYe is a dope boss! lol
The video was obviously directed by the some person who directed Kid Cudi's Day N Nite, SoMe (is that how you spell it?). It was well directed and thought out. Loved every second of this video! Big Sean FTW! It's G.O.O.D Music bitches!
Cudi's Make Her Say video and this video are really helping me recover from the Best I Ever Had video...good music videos save lives....
