Yall know that I'm not the biggest fan of Nicki Minaj... right now. I mean, once upon a time I was. Then I hated her, then I was annoyed by her, and now... I'm just trying to understand her. Main reason I'm posting this is cause as simple as it is, this is a dope cover. Complex has some of the sickest covers ever and I think this one is no different. From her outfit, to her pose, to the position of the the words-very well done. I might just go to a Walgreens and stand in the aisle and read her feature. I don't think I'm ready to spend money on her just yet. Nicki has become a mystery to me. I tend to just blame it on drugs when it comes to her weird, outlandish ways but I know she doesn't do drugs. And I never took that fact away that she is indeed a talented emcee. She's ill. I just wish she didn't present herself in a way that made her brand seem like propaganda. The fact that Complex actually had to say "Nicki Minaj... Is Not A Cartoon." worries me. If she looked like this throughout her whole career, her different probably wouldn't bother me so much. I honestly feel like she would be just as successful as she is now if she didn't do the whole Barbie thing. Maybe even more successful. So this interview they did with her seems to answer a lot of questions that i have about this woman. Once the mystery is solved, then I'll know for sure whether or not I am a Nicki Minaj fan.
