PORKLACEDFORKS.
Coming from the CT collective, All Mighty, producer ZVLU releases his debut project titled PORKLACEDFORKS! The 10 track project includes original instrumentals and remixes of songs such as JMSN's Alone and Nina Simone's Feel Good. Some of you might already be familiar with his work since he has done a a lot of production for fellow All Mighty member, Criss Lyric.
With a title like PORKLACEDFORKS, I didn't know what to expect. But being a fan of ZVLU's work for a while now, I knew not to expect anything less than dope. PLF is a smooth ride through the creative mind of the producer and his interpretations of the various sounds he encounters. Although this may not be a complete demonstration of his talent (because ZVLU is versatile af), this project does shows a different side to his artistry we may not have been able to appreciate with an artist singing or rapping over it.
When it comes to the remixes he did, he truly flipped those songs and gave them a whole new life. He did a remix of a cover of Disclosure's White Noise featuring AlunaGeorge. Remixes of a cover, which is lowkey a remix in itself, don't happen often, but ZVLU did it and killed it!
This project contains some great vibes to enjoy in this fourth quarter of the year and I hope ZVLU plans on dropping even more dopeness for us, cause we need it. If you're hungry for some amazing shit, get into some PORKLACEDFORKS! ...Didn't you just love that deliberate pun?! Yeah, you did.
