Review: The Interview.

Okay, I didn't get to caught up in the chaos of what was going with this movie as far as the release and being banned in theaters and all that jazz. This movie caused a big stir prior to its release. Sony was wildin' out, North Korea and the US were tossing the blame for the mess at Sony at each other-you can google this and read all about it. All I know is that my BFF aka Netflix is streaming it.

Yup, I'm talking about The Interview starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. Pineapple Express dudes? Pineapple Express dudes. Besides the controversial plot of the movie, this movie is really not that serious.

Trailer: The Interview
Because it's funny as hell! Like this silly ass movie got two powerful nations bickering like some 13 year old girls! Yeah plotting to kill the dictator of North Korea is pretty wild and ballsy but the way the story plays out, you lowkey forget the severity of the plot.

Rogen and Franco are a match made in Hollywood heaven, so you are always guaranteed a good laugh whenever you're watching them. The other actors in the movie held their own as well.

I thought this movie was going to be dumb and annoying as fuck but I honestly found myself legitmately laughing a good 90% of the time. And there are plenty of memorable lines/moments in this movie that you will easily be turning into inside jokes with your friends for a good 3 months after watching this.

All in all, I really like this movie. Did it blow my mind? Was I in tears from laughter? No. But it was a good enough watch that I felt compelled to do a quick review on it for you.

When the movie ended, all I could think was "People were freaking out about THIS? Chill out."
